Douglas Paul Brown, Sr.

Douglas Paul Brown, Sr., 81, of West Warwick, passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2024. He was the husband of Jennifer (Flanagan) Brown. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Walter C. and Mabel (Black) Brown.

Douglas graduated from Warwick Veterans High School and proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He later attended both CCRI and the New England Institute of Technology. Douglas worked as an Equipment Installation Manager for Verizon, Inc. and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.

He is survived by his beloved son, Douglas P. Brown, Jr. (Leigh) of Warwick, his sister, Donna Charnley (Kenneth) of Northbridge, MA, and his grandchildren, Cameron Brown (fiance Monika) and Carson Brown.

He was the brother of the late Janice Willett (Ernie) and the late Harry Brown (Audrey).

He was the brother-in-law of Constance Flanagan and Joan Russo (Bill).

His Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 9, 2024 at 12Noon at THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00AM-12Noon.
Following the Funeral Service, the Family will hold a private burial at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
