Dorothy M. (Donnelly) Short

of Warwick, passed away Thursday at Brentwood Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Francis F. Short. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Owen and Mary (Dugan) Donnelly.

Mrs. Short was a Bookkeeper for the former A & L Auto Parts in Warwick until her retirement in 1975. She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Parish in Warwick.

She was the beloved mother of Robert T. Short of Norfolk, MA, Francis X. Short of Richmond and Mary E. Sullivan of Warwick. Loving grandmother of eight and great grandmother of three.

Her funeral will be held Monday at 8:00 am from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 3250 Post Road, Warwick. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Sunday 4-7 pm.
