Doris Regina St. (Lacroix) George

Doris Regina (Lacroix) St. George, 98, of Port Charlotte, FL, formerly of North Kingstown, passed away on Saturday, August 28, 2024. She was the loving wife of the late Charles Edward St. George. Born in West Warwick, she was the daughter of the late Manuel Mello and Roseann Lacroix.

Doris was the Owner and Operator of Doris Beauty Salon in Warwick. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Doris was a communicant of St. Francis De Sales Parish in North Kingstown. In her free time, she was an avid golfer and enjoyed bowling.

She is survived by her beloved children, Robert G. Theroux (Donna) of North Kingstown and Debra A. Reilly (William J. Jr.) of Port Charlotte, FL, her sister, Beatrice Salois of Coventry, two grandchildren, Christine M. Yerks (Jeffrey) and William C. Reilly (Christi), two great-grandchildren, Jeffrey and Michaela, and one great-great grandchild, Hazel.

She was the sister of the late Herman Mello.

Her Funeral will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at 8:30AM from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00AM at St. Francis De Sales Church, 381 School Street, North Kingstown. Interment will follow at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter.

Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday, September 9, 2024 from 5:00PM-7:00PM.
