Donna Mae (Breedon) James

Donna Mae (Breedon) James, 81, of West Warwick, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 6, 2025. Born in Warwick, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Thelma (Henry) Breedon.

Donna graduated from Warwick Veterans High School and Warwick Academy of Beauty Culture. She later worked as a Supervisor at Cranston Arc, where she dedicated many years of service before her retirement.

She is survived by her beloved children, Larna Grossi of Burrillville and Curtiss James and his wife Erin of Saunderstown; her loving sisters, Audrey “Sis” Pfeifer of North Kingstown and Linda Palmiotte and her husband Vincent, also of North Kingstown. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Aaron James, Trenton C. James, and Dennis M. Wilkinson, and her great-grandchild, Artist. Donna is also survived by her former daughter-in-law, Darlene James.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Joyce Leavitt.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at 11:00 AM at The Urquhart-Murphy Funeral Home, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick. Visiting hours will precede the service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick.
