Dolores J. Griffin

Dolores J. Griffin, 95, of North Kingstown, died peacefully at home on December 2, 2025.  She was the wife of the late John W. Griffin.  Born in Passaic, NJ, she was the daughter of the late William S. Kolek and Helen M. (Anderson) Kolek, and was the sister of the late Joyce Wiatrak.

Dolores was employed with the Leviton Corp. for 30 years until her retirement.  She was a Communicant of St. Bernard Church, active member of the NK Senior Center, community volunteer reading to children at the Wickford library, and loved her bingo.

She is survived by her six children, three grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild, as well as her brother Bill Kolek.

A Mass of Intention will be held Friday, January 23, 2026 at 8:00 AM in St. Bernard Church, 275 Tower Hill Road, North Kingstown. 

A Memorial Breakfast will be served directly following the Mass at Karie’s Kitchen on 640 Boston Neck Rd in North Kingstown

In Lieu of flowers, a donation to the John W Griffin Memorial Chess Scholarship Fund would be welcome.
