Devereux Milburn, III

MILBURN--Devereux, III. Died March 4, 2026, in Kingston, RI. Son of Devereux Milburn, Jr. and Elizabeth C. Milburn (Hinckley), he was born on June 15, 1940 in Boston, MA. He was raised in Old Westbury, NY, attended St. Paul's School in Concord, NH, Harvard College, and Fordham University School of Law. He served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam, attaining the rank of LTJG. He practiced law at the firm of Webster & Sheffield in New York City before moving to Los Angeles, CA to continue his law practice at Blecher, Collins & Hoecker. After retirement he returned to the east coast, settling in Wakefield, RI. He is survived by brothers John G. Milburn (Sandra), Michael Milburn (Diane), and sisters Elizabeth H. Morris (Lawrence), and Nancy G. Milburn. He was predeceased by brother Frank H. Milburn (Maria). Also surviving him are nine nieces and nephews, four grandnephews, and two grandnieces.
