David Alan Underwood

David Alan Underwood, 55, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Karen E. (Tracey) Underwood. Born in Providence, he was the son of Bryan and Frances (Grabbert) Underwood of Florida.

David worked as manager and appraiser for 22 years at Reliable Collision Inc., in West Warwick. Dave enjoyed camping at Bowdish Lake with Karen and his loyal companion, Maggie. His favorite place was the woods and nature. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Besides his wife Karen, he is survived by his loving children, Nicholas Underwood (Laura) of Coventry, Daniel Underwood (Taylor) of Burrillville, Michael Underwood (Nicole) of Warwick, his stepson Timothy Najas (Renda) of Providence, and stepdaughter Elizabeth Najas (Kevin ) of Cranston, his grandchildren Giovanna, Samuel, Jacoby, Teagen, his brothers Bryan Underwood (Cindy) of Warwick, and Timothy Underwood of Florida.

His Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 1, 2025, at 7:00PM at THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 4:00PM-7:00PM.
