Dana F. Berube, 74, of Richmond, died at home on June 27, 2026. He was the loving husband of Lorraine A. (Pesce) Berube. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Leo J. Berube and Regina (McManus) Berube.
Mr. Berube was a lifelong native Rhode Islander. He was employed with Carbon Technology of Exeter from the age of 18. He enjoyed sailing, telling silly puns, and had a passion for cars. He was a member and newsletter editor for the Rhode Island Street Rodding Association car club for many years. He had an eye for craftsmanship and was a gifted mechanic and carpenter.
In addition to his wife, he leaves his son, James D. Berube and his companion Laura Isbrandt of Kingston, MA and his grandson, Austin O’Brien of Newport, RI. He was the brother of the late David Berube and Carol Daniels.
In accordance with Dana’s wishes, his funeral and burial will be private.
Arrangements have been entrusted to THE CRANSTON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME of WICKFORD.
