Christopher S. Hazard

Christopher S. Hazard, Sr. 51, of Providence, died November 27, 2024 at Roger Williams Hospital.  He was the husband of Kristina (Gifford) Kelly.   Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Robert N. Hazard, Sr. and Wanda M. (Walmsley) Hazard.

Chris was employed as a chef at various restaurants throughout his career.  He was a member of the Narragansett Indian Tribe.

He leaves his loving children: Alisha Potter-Young, Shakala Hazard, Christopher Hazard, Jr., Jullian Ardrey, Jannea Gallagher, Brook Lyn Hazard, Romeo Cole, Asia Hazard, Isaiah Hazard, Xavier Hazard, Aanyah Hazard, Ami Kelly, Messiah Hazard, Olivia Hazard, Farrah Kelly, Bishop Hazard, Blessing Hazard, and Harper Kelly.  Cherished grandfather of 18 grandchildren.   He was the brother of Robert N. Hazard, Jr., Lauliston Robinson, Latayna M. Walmslely, and the late Juan D. Hazard.  

Visiting Hours will be held Friday, December 6, 2024 from the hours of 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. in THE CRANSTON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME of WICKFORD, 140 West Main Street, Wickford Village, North Kingstown.  Burial will be private.
