Catherine F. (Vileno) Corrente

69, of Warwick passed away Saturday at Miriam Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Anthony G. Corrente, Sr. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Barattini) Vileno.

Mrs. Corrente was a hairdresser at the former Oaklawn Beauty Salon in Cranston until her retirement 20 years ago. She was a graduate of St. Mary Academy of the Visitation and Angelo's School of Hairdressing. She was a member of SS Rose & Clement Parish in Warwick.

She was the loving mother of Caroline A. Corrente and Anthony G. Corrente, Jr. and his wife Julianne, all of West Warwick. Cherished grandmother of Christopher M. McMahon. Caring sister of John Vileno of Hampton, CT, Joseph Vileno, Jr. of Providence, Anne Nolan, Nancy Vileno and Geraldine Bastia, all of Warwick, Barbara Sullivan of Hope Valley, Elizabeth Rollinson of Pomfret, CT, Patricia Costantino of Westport, MA and the late Nita Costantino and Lucy Simpson.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:45 am from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Clement Church, 111 Long Street, Warwick. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Tuesday 3-7 pm.
