Carolyn M. Girard

Carolyn M. (Medeiros) Girard, 81, of Warwick, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2026. Born in Central Falls, RI, she was the daughter of the late Julio and Theresa (Bessette) Medeiros.

Carolyn worked as a Bookkeeper at Manufacturing Co, Gateways. She attended service at the Living Faith Church in Warwick and was a woman of strong faith.

Carolyn was a member of Our Daily Bread, was an avid reader. Her faith was very important to her, and she lived out her faith in a quiet but powerful way through prayer and ministering to others. She loved her bible, which she read daily, finding comfort and guidance in its words. She was especially comforted by Psalm 23. She had a giving spirit and helped others by giving generously to causes close to her heart, including veterans, animals, children and other ministries.

Carolyn leaves behind her beloved daughter Christine Pierce (Fred), her grandchildren Bria and James, her siblings Robert Medeiros, David Medeiros, Richard Medeiros, and Julio F.  Medeiros II, and Dolores Napoli.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at 10:00AM, at THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick. Burial immediately following the service.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday May 5, 2026, from 4:00PM-7:00PM.
