Carolyn A. (Craven) Dauray

Carolyn A. (Craven) Dauray, of Warwick, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2024. She was the loving wife of the late William M. Dauray. Born in New York City, NY, she was the daughter of the late John and Grace (Sullivan) Craven.

Carolyn was raised in Providence and settled in Warwick, where she devotedly raised her family. She served as a Licensed Practical Nurse for thirty-eight years at Kent County Hospital. Carolyn loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking for her family, especially for the Thanksgiving Holiday. In her free time, Carolyn loved to go to the beach, go on family vacations, and spend time with her pets. She will be greatly missed by all those whose lives she touched.

She is survived by her beloved children, Kathleen Dauray of Warwick, Brian Dauray (Lauren) of Narragansett, and Michele Dauray Ladas of East Greenwich, and her grandchildren, Johanna, Matthew, Jordan, Nathan, Will, and Ted.

She was the mother of the late Gary Dauray (Cheryl).

Her Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 9, 2024 at 11:00AM at THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:00AM-11:00AM. Interment at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter will be private.
