Carla M. Gonzales, 60, of Greenland, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2026, at Kent Hospital in Warwick, Rhode Island. She was the beloved wife of Reginald A. Gonzales.

Carla was actively involved in the labor movement in Brazil and was a passionate political and social activist. She dedicated much of her life to advocating for workers’ rights and standing up for those whose voices were often unheard. Her compassion, courage, and commitment to justice left a lasting impact on those who knew her.
In addition to her husband, Carla is survived by her loving sons, Ryan A. Gonzales and Aaron J. Gonzales, both of Greenland, New Hampshire. She is also survived by her siblings: Nubia Bento, Janaina Bento, Rogerio Bento, Eduardo Bento, Edilson Bento, Marcos Bento, and Ze Geraldo Bento. She was predeceased by her sisters, Valeria Miranda and Vania Bento.
Visiting hours, open to all who wish to pay their respects, will be held on March 21, 2026, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Remick & Gendron Funeral Home in Hampton, New Hampshire. A memorial service for family and close friends will follow at 2:00 p.m.
