It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Brey-Leigh Gervais, 31. The illness and addiction that had stolen her peace finally took her life, and she left our world on August 4, 2024.
Brey-Leigh leaves behind her darling son, Weston, whom she loved with all her heart.
She was beautiful, intelligent, feisty, outspoken, and ready to do anything for anyone. She had a charming, funny, sarcastic sense of humor and a remarkable energy, which helped her to calm and ease the patients she took care of as a phlebotomist. Her energy could fill any room, even while struggling with her own demons.
Brey-Leigh made an indelible mark on the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. She had a thirst for life and a passion for experiencing all that it had to offer. Her friends and family will remember her as a free spirit, a hippie at heart who adored yoga and all things mystical and magical. She loved outdoor activities and especially loved camping. She was also passionate about music, art, and photography.
Brey-Leigh will be most loved and missed by her surviving family, the Gervais and Rock families. A remembrance gathering will take place at a later date to celebrate Brey-Leigh's life.
Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick.
In place of flowers, memorial donations in her name can be made to Al-Anon Family Groups. https://ecomm.al-anon.org/donate#vaff.
May your soul finally find peace, Brey-Leigh. Your heart's song will forever be heard in the rhythm of our stories.
