Biagio Petrella

80, of Cranston, passed away Friday at Westerly Hospital. He was the husband of the late Jeannette (Palumbo) Petrella. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Sabastiano and Maria (Perillo) Petrella.

Mr. Petrella was employed with Samuel Rapporport Mfg. Co. and served in The United States Army.

He was the beloved father of John Petrella, Michael Petrella, Marie Caniglia and her husband Arthur, and Nancy Petrella, all of Cranston. Loving grandfather of Jaime Caniglia and Jonathan Caniglia, both of Cranston.

His funeral will be held MONDAY at 8:45 am from THE PRATA-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Paul Church, 1 St. Paul Place, Cranston. Burial, with military honors, will follow in St. Ann Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited and may call SATURDAY 5-7 pm.
