Beatrice V. Tashian, 105, a Warwick resident since 1927, passed into eternal life on April 15, 2026. She was predeceased by her dear brother, Richard Tashian, PhD, and her loving parents, Marie and Thomas Kenosian. She is survived by her nephew, Alexander Tashian (Wendy) of Ann Arbor, MI, and two grandnieces (Nicole and Sophia), and was an integral part of the Montuori family for over 70 years.
Beatrice worked as a dedicated and highly valued supervisor in the Central Files department of Federal Products in Providence, RI, for more than 30 years, where she forged many lifelong friendships that she valued more than anything. She took great enjoyment in taking trips throughout the United States and traveling to many foreign countries in the company of family and friends. She found much pleasure in interesting books, beautiful flowers, her doll collection, and cheering on the University of Michigan football team.
Above all, Beatrice will be remembered for her gentle, polite, and dignified manner, her appreciation for fine and pretty details, and the exceptional thoughtfulness and compassion shown to all who knew her.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick, RI. Her memorial service and burial will be private.
