Barbara Ann (Ormondroyd) Lynch

Barbara Ann (Ormondroyd) Lynch, 86, of Warwick, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024. She was the loving wife of the late Kenneth P. Lynch. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late William and Katherine (Flynn) Ormondroyd.

Barbara was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a lifelong parishioner of St. Peter’s Church in Warwick. Barbara loved spending time with her grandchildren; she was always there to cheer them on in their many activities. In her free time, she also enjoyed baking, gardening, and painting.

She is survived by her beloved daughters, Kerri L. Hindinger (Eric) of Warwick, Kristin A. Murray (Daniel) of Wakefield, and Kimberly A. Smith (Christopher) of Warwick, seven grandchildren (Daniel and Ryan Murray; Emma, John, and William Hindinger; and Savannah and Jack Smith). She also leaves two great-grandchildren.

Barbara was the sister of the late Helen Bonneau and Dolores Silvia, and a loving aunt to several nieces and nephews.

Her Funeral will be held on Monday, January 6, 2025 at 9:30AM from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00AM at St. Peter Church, 350 Fair Street, Warwick. Interment will follow at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 5, 2025 from 5:00PM-7:00PM.
