Barbara Ann Lavender

Barbara Ann (Keefe) Lavender, 97, passed away on February 17, 2026. She was the loving wife of the late George A. Lavender. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Timothy and Pearl (Oatley) Keefe.

Barbara was a member of St. Edward Parish in Providence. 

She is survived by her beloved children, Debra A. Gaynor (Dennis) of Warwick, Timothy A. Lavender (Melody) of Warwick, Maryann Loud (Richard) of Florida and Richard A. Lavender (Bonnie) of Kentucky, and her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Barbara was predeceased by her son Craig A. Lavender, and her siblings Raymond Keefe, William Keefe, Harold Keefe, Dorothy Beland, Mary Manoogian, Ruth Shaw, and Gladys Maguire.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at 11:00AM at THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick, Internment immediately following at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter, RI.

Visitation will be held prior from 10:00AM-11:00AM.
