Arthur J. Sicard, Sr,

Arthur J. Sicard, Sr., 70, of Cranston, died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, March 21, 2026. He was the beloved longtime companion of Elizabeth Santurri. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Arthur R. and Dorothy A. (Poirier) Sicard.

Arthur was known for his gentle spirit, kindness and compassion. Whether by offering a comforting word, a helping hand, or simply a quiet presence, he gave freely of himself and made the world a better place in countless, meaningful ways. Arthur spent many years working as a dedicated construction worker, where he took great pride in building and creating with his hands. Outside of work, Arthur loved spending time outdoors, especially camping, where he felt most at peace surrounded by nature.

Besides his longtime companion, he will be sadly missed by his son Arthur J. Sicard Jr. (Christine DiCarlo) of Sterling, CT and his three sisters, Donna Helwig, Deborah Boxser and Mary Theriault. He also leaves Elizabeth’s children, Jaimie Fawbush and Michael Santurri. He was the loving grandfather of Sierra Sicard, Averi Santurri, Ryan Santurri and Henry Fawbush. He was the brother of the late Alfred Sicard, Richard Sicard, Diane Petrangelo and Brenda Fougere.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Friday, March 27, 2026, from 9:00 AM-9:45 AM at St. Joseph Church, 854 Providence Street, West Warwick. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers donations in Arthur’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
