Anthony C. Guglielmo

75, of West Warwick passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at Kent Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Peggy Ann (Parente) Guglielmo. Born in West Warwick, he was a son of the late Domenic and Giuseppina (Colletta) Guglielmo.

A self employed contractor, Mr. Guglielmo was the owner and operator of GUG Construction. He served in The United States Army and the R.I. National Guard during the Vietnam War and was a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary. He received his Bachelors Degree from Johnson & Whales University and was a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design. He was a member of Knights of Columbus Leo Council, the German Club and the Homebuilders Association of Rhode Island.

He was the loving father of Dr. Maria Guglielmo of East Greenwich and Maureen Jensen of Trumbull, CT. Cherished grandfather of Brady Jensen, Meghan Jensen, Chiara Guglielmo and Sabrina Guglielmo. Loving brother of Ernest Guglielmo of Providence and the late Margaret Dandeneault, Vincent Guglielmo, Antonetta DiRocco, Pasquale Guglielmo and Thomasina DiMuccio.

Relatives and friends are invited to Visitation Saturday from 8:30-9:30 am in THE PRATA-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Sacred Heart Church, 820 Providence Street, West Warwick. Burial, with military honors, will follow in R.I. Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
