Amelia (Andrade) Crocker, 96, of Warwick, passed away on Monday, July 14, 2025. She was the loving wife of the late Charles R. Crocker. Born in East Providence, she was the daughter of the late Sergio and Francisca (Dutra) Andrade.
Amelia graduated from East Providence High School in 1947 and worked as both a Pharmacist Assistant and an Executive Secretary for MetLife Insurance. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother; she provided a loving home for her family. Amelia was a parishioner of Sts. Rose & Clement Parish in Warwick where she served as a member of the Altar Society. Blessed with great talent, she was also an accomplished seamstress, loved to read and play bingo.
She is survived by her beloved children, Linda Kowalski (Joseph) of Warren, Alan Crocker (Diane) of Jacksonville, FL, and Mary Elizabeth Crocker of Warwick, her siblings, Virginia Rives of East Providence, Fernando Andrade of Halifax, Nova Scotia, and Frances Thompson of Seekonk, her grandchildren, Jennifer, Brianne, Rachel, Jaime, Matthew, and Steven, four great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Anthony Andrade and Mary Rennard.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at 11:00AM at Sts. Rose & Clement Church, 111 Long Street, Warwick. Calling hours are respectfully omitted. Interment will be private.
Funeral Arrangements are entrusted to THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick.
