Alice (Kimball) Crabtree

98, entered into the presence of her Heavenly Father on Friday, February 18, 2011 at Pleasant View Genesis Eldercare Home in Concord, NH after a period of declining health.

Born in New Britain, CT, March 23, 1912, she was the daughter of Alvin and Nellie (Steele) Kimball. She was lovingly raised from the age of twelve by Dr. and Mrs. Dwight Dickerman of New Britain, CT. She lived in North Kingstown, RI for many years before moving to Concord, NH in 1988.

She was predeceased by her husband, The Reverend Sumner D. Crabtree and her brother, Louis W. Kimball. She has left a loving legacy to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and will be greatly missed.

Family members include her son, Paul W. Crabtree and his wife Sharron of Riverside, CA, her daughter, Patricia A. Pereira and her husband David of Concord, NH, one sister, Edith Smith of Boca Raton, FL, five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held Saturday, February 26, 2011 at 11:00 am in THE CRANSTON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME of WICKFORD, 140 West Main Street, Wickford Village, North Kingstown. Burial will follow in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.
