Alexander Algasso Obituary

Alexander Algasso, 92, of Providence, passed away on Friday, August 2, 2024. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Julio and Vera (Tuffri) Algasso.

Alexander proudly served in the United States Navy during the Korean War and worked as a Floor Covering Specialist for Johnston Floor Covering.

He was the dear brother of the late Joseph Algasso, Anthony Algasso and Diane (Algasso) Waterson.

He is survived by his beloved niece, Deborah Scipione of Cranston and his beloved nephew William A. Watterson of Johnston.

He was the father of the late Denise Algasso.

A Private Burial with Military Honors will be held at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.

Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick.
