Alec Rogers Obituary

Alec J. Rogers, 66, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026.  He was the beloved husband of Elizabeth “Betty” Kuntze. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Frank and Ethel (Michalowski) Rogers.

Alec was employed as a Painter and Roofer for many years before retiring. He was known for his quick wit, sharp mind, and unforgettable personality—a true character who could make anyone laugh. He had a remarkable way of connecting with people, and his kindness knew no bounds. He would give you the shirt off his back without hesitation, always putting others before himself.

Besides his loving and devoted wife, he leaves his children, Alec J. Rogers (Amanda) of Warwick and Sherry A. Kuntze of Warwick.   He was the brother of, Frank “Frankie” Rogers of Norton, Kimberly Gorman (Russell) of Norton, MA and Linda Antuono of Fl.  He also leaves his loving grandchildren, Leo Goodinson, Ivy Rogers and Wes Rogers. 

He was predeceased by his daughter, Shannon Rogers in 1986 and his sister, Lynne Marie Gahagan.

Funeral Service will be held  on Monday, April 6, 2026 at 12:00PM at the URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Ave. Warwick.  Visitation will be held prior from 10:00 AM-12:00PM. Burial will be private.
