Aaron L. Hicks

Aaron L. Hicks, 85, of Exeter, died peacefully on October 16, 2025 at South County Hospital.  He was the loving husband of Linda A. (Riley) Hicks.  Born in Ramseur, NC, he was a son of the late Guy N. Hicks and Estelle (York) Hicks.

Mr. Hicks was employed as a Machinist with Carbon Technology until his retirement.  He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis.  He enjoyed gardening, hunting, puzzles, and reading. 

In addition to his wife, he leaves his loving children: Timothy A. Hicks of Chesterfield, SC, Jennifer L. Pierce & her husband Paul of North Kingstown, and Stephanie A. Corbin & her husband Joseph of West Warwick.  He was the father-in-law of the late Peggy Hicks.  Cherished grandfather of Shane Hicks, Courtney L. Hair & her husband David, Jeffrey R. Blair, Jr., Allison F. Blair, Ashlyn R. Corbin, Aaron J. Corbin, and great-grandfather of Mark B. Hair.  He was the brother of Shirley Mitchell of Ramseur, NC, James Hicks of Ramseur, NC, and the late Barbara Harris and Patty Williamson.

His funeral and burial in the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery will be private.  Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
