George Carbone, 88, of Warwick passed away Wednesday. He was the beloved husband of Jean (Salamone) Carbone. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Andrew and Petrina (Ranucci) Carbone. A Graphic Designer, Mr. Carbone was the owner and operator of George Nathan Associates. He served in The United States Navy during WW II and was a member of the V.F.W. He was the loving father of Andrew Carbone and his wife Susan and Laura Carbone, all of Warwick. Cherished grandfather of Tori Carbone of Warwick. Caring brother of Caroline DiMeo of Providence, Lottie Centracchio of Warwick and the late Louis Carbone. His Funeral Service will be held Tuesday at 10:00 am in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95). Burial will follow in R.I. Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Monday 4-7 pm.
