Kathleen M. (Murphy) Meunier, 48, of Warwick passed away Saturday. She was the beloved wife of Richard W. Meunier. Born in Danielson, Connecticut, she was a loving daughter of Floyd Murphy of Warwick and the late Yvonne (Privee) Murphy.

Kathleen was a Peer Support Tech for the Veterans Regional Medical Center. She was a graduate of Killingly High School and U.R.I. and was accepted into the Masters Program for Social Work at R.I.C. She served in the Connecticut Army National Guard until a 100% service-connected disability. She was a communicant of St. Catherine of Siena Church and an active volunteer for NAMI and PAL.

She was the devoted mother of Honor Mae Meunier of Warwick. Caring sister of Guy Murphy of Massachusetts, Bruce Murphy, Joanne Murphy, Denise Murphy and Kim Dootson all of Connecticut and Brenda Vore of Missouri.

Her funeral will be held Friday at 8:45 am from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 3250 Post Road, Warwick. Burial, with full military honors, will follow in R.I. Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Thursday 7-9 pm.
