Roberta D. (Wright) Doodson, 96, of Elkland Road, Warwick, passed away Tuesday at home. She was the wife of the late Thomas A. Doodson. Born in Needham, Massachusetts, she was a daughter of the late John H. and Anna (Striker) Wright.

Mrs. Doodson was an assembler in the jewelry industry until her retirement. She was active in Hillsgrove United Methodist Church, now Open Table of Christ, and in the church choir.

She was the beloved mother of Wayne T. Doodson of Londonderry, New Hampshire and the late Norma F. Harbourt. Loving grandmother of six and great grandmother of two. She was the sister of the late Clarence, John, Irving and Lawrence Wright, Ariel Norman, Eunice Malo and Lila Wright.

Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday at 10:00 am in Hillsgrove United Methodist Church, now Open Table of Christ, 35 Kilvert Street, Warwick. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Friday 2-4 and 7-9 pm in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95).
