Bertha (Chrones) Vient, 90, of Warwick, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, September 30, 2011 at Roger Williams Medical Center. Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late James and Helen Chrones. She was the beloved wife of Edmond R. Vient.

Mrs. Vient worked as a Secretary in the financial services industry for many years.

Besides her husband, she leaves her devoted daughter, Patricia A. Sacha and her husband Bradley of Warwick and a granddaughter, Nicole A. Sacha of Warwick.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at 9:00 am from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Greenwood, Warwick (Exit 12A off I-95) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 3250 Post Road, Warwick. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 245 Waterman Street, Suite 306, Providence, RI 02906 will be appreciated.
