Elvira (Vespia) Schiavino, 96, of Warwick passed away Wednesday at Brentwood Nursing Home. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Domenico and Domenica (Romeo) Vespia.

Ms. Schiavino was a Sales Lady for St. Onge in Garden City. She enjoyed painting.

She was the beloved mother of Claudia D. Bottai and her husband Robert of Florida, Jan Schiavino of Pawtucket and Paula L. Wilcox and her husband Albert of Warwick. Loving sister of Raymond Vespia of California and the late John Vespia, Louise Antonucci, Yolanda Pangalos, Eva Formicola and Dorothy Keller. Caring sister in law of Lydia DeCrosta and Bruno Schiavino. Devoted grandmother of Kelly L. Tober, Jennifer Sheehan and Carol-Lynn Rotz. Cherished great grandmother of six and the late Caroline G. Tober.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 10:00 am in St. Gregory The Great Church, 360 Cowesett Road, Warwick. Burial will be private. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
