Alan R. Tatro, 28, of Warwick passed away on September 10, 2011. Born in Warwick, he was a beloved son of Kerri Ann Ward of Warwick and Alan M. Tatro of Hope Valley.

Alan was a Technician and Installer for Safari Cable for 6 years. He attended Warwick Veterans High School and was a sports enthusiast and nature lover. He enjoyed playing soccer, playing and watching baseball and vacationing in New Hampshire. His teams were the Boston Red Sox, and the San Francisco 49'rs. Alan also had a love of animals.

He is also survived by his dad Raymond R. Tillinghast, with whom he lived, of Warwick; two brothers Raymond R. Tillinghast, II of Warwick and Michael J. Tatro of Hope Valley; his sister, Lorie Andrews of Warwick, with whom he spent much time at Mousie's Deli; his step-mother Diane M. Tatro of Hope Valley; several aunts, uncles, cousins and his extended family.

All are welcome to a casual gathering to celebrate Alan's life on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 1:00 PM at The Crowne Plaza Hotel, 801 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95).

In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory to Rhode Island SPCA, 186 Amaral St., Riverside, RI 02915 would be appreciated.
