Bruce G. Kullander, 73, of Fall River, died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with Parkinson's Disease. He was the beloved husband of Odelia "Dee" C. (Amaral) Kullander for nearly 43 years. Born in Chicago, Illinois, a son of the late Gerald Bolander and Agnes (Johanson) Kullander, he was a resident of Fall River for many years.

Mr. Kullander proudly served in the U.S. Navy where he worked as a Pattern Maker for many years. He was a Carpenter for Equity Office Properties until his retirement in 2003. Bruce was an active member of The Little Theatre of Fall River, where he served as President on the board of directors. He was a talented actor and director, who touched the lives of all who worked with him. He was a member of the Fleet Reserve and the Colonial Navy of Massachusetts. He will always be remembered for his dry sense of humor and kindness to all who knew him.

Besides his wife, he leaves his children: Deborah D. Camara and her husband John of Fall River, Wanda J. Vincent and her husband Robert of Pawtucket, RI, Linda DaLuz of Pawtucket, RI, and Richard Kullander and his wife Claire of Pascoag, RI. Cherished grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, including Bruce J. Camara and Bradford C. Camara, both of Fall River. Loving brother of Wayne C. Kullander and his wife Melissa of Scottsdale, AZ, and Rolph Kullander of Virginia. He was the uncle of Eric Kullander of New Orleans, LA, Wayne C. Kullander, Jr. of Arizona, and Patricia Beckman of Paradise Valley, AZ.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 11:00 am in Holy Name Church, 709 Hanover Street, Fall River. Burial will be private. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.

In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory to Smile Train, P.O. Box 96231, Washington, D.C. 20090 or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 will be appreciated.
