Helen M. (Burns) Mack,
85, of Warwick, passed away peacefully on Monday. She was the wife of the late Robert H. MacAuley and the former wife of Walter C. Corley of Bradenton, FL. Born in Bath Township, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late D. L. Burns and Sarah (Lueck) Burns, she had lived in Lake Placid, Florida for 20 years before returning to Warwick in 2007.
Helen was a Bookkeeper and Office Manager for Bryant College and Terminex until her retirement. She served in The United States Navy during the Korean War. She was a member of the WAVES, American Legion, D.A.V., V.F.W. Auxiliary Groups 20 & 4 and the Air Force Association. Helen was an avid fan of the New England Patriots.
She was the beloved mother of Cindy A. Corley and Lisa C. Corley, both of Warwick and the late Lynn Corley Larrivee. She was the sister of the late Raymond Burns, Betty Kusta, and Pauline Bledsoe.
Relatives and friends are invited to Visitation on Thursday from 5:00 - 7:00 pm in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95). Her funeral and burial with military honors in R.I. Veterans Memorial Cemetery will be private.
