Patrick James McCarthy, 62, passed away August 20, 2011 after a long illness with his family by his side. He had lived in Mount Desert Island, Maine from 1992 until 2005 when he took ill. Patrick worked for Jackson Lab for 6 years.



He was a United States Navy Veteran and served in the Vietnam War.


He is survived by his wife Claudette (Roy) McCarthy, his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He left behind many friends on Mount Desert Island.


There will be a private memorial service for the family and no calling hours.
