Ronald Hays Greer, 74 years old, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, August 14, 2011. Beloved husband of Vivian B. (Menard) Greer for 48 years. Son of Roosevelt and Revella (Hughes) Greer.

Ronald served in The U.S. Army and worked as a Customer Service Engineer for I.B.M. and Eastman Kodak.

Ronald will be missed by his children: Christopher J.T. Greer (Carolyn) of Groton, CT, Maria D. Carville (Christopher) of North Kingstown and Matthew E. Greer of Bend, OR, and his grandchildren: Justin and Marissa Carville and Nicholas, Cameron and Caitlin Greer.

Ronald is survived by his siblings Roosevelt Greer Jr. of Arizona, Myrtle Rosario of Seekonk, MA, Dolores Wilson of Apopka, FL and Bertha Willoughby of New London, CT. He was the brother of the late Wallace Greer and James Everett Greer.

Relatives and friends are invited to Visitation on Thursday from 4-7 pm in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95). Funeral and burial private.
