Adam F. "Buddha" Jackson, 42, of North Kingstown, died peacefully on Friday, August 12, 2011. Born in San Diego, CA, he was a son of the late Thomas F. Jackson and Margaret (Orosco) Jackson.

Adam worked as a carpenter and he was an avid musician. He was a songwriter, poet, artist, and all around creative person. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He leaves his beloved daughter Aryan R. Burns of Jamestown. He was the brother of Aaron V. Jackson of North Kingstown and Adrian D. Jackson of Avon, CT. Cherished Uncle of Heather DeSouza, Brandy, Taylor, & Morgan Jackson, and Grand Uncle of Kylie DeSouza and Braden Kook.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Friday, August 19, 2011 from 2:00 to 6:00 pm in THE CRANSTON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME of WICKFORD, 140 West Main Street, Wickford Village, North Kingstown. Burial will be private.
