Anthony A. Giusti,
90, of Warwick, died peacefully at home on Saturday, July 30, 2011. Born in West Warwick, he was a son of the late Saverio Giusti and Concetta (Parente) Giusti. He was the wife of the late Esther (Colavecchio) Giusti.
Mr. Giusti was a Supervisor at Davisville Seabee Base for sixty years until his retirement. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during WWII, honorably discharged with the rank of Tech 4-Quartermaster. He was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church, a member of the American Legion, and VFW.
He leaves his daughter, Sandra DeLuca of Warwick, two grandchildren, Matthew D. DeLuca, Julie DeLuca and two great-granddaughters, Gianna and Sophia DeLuca. He was the brother of the late George Giusti, Vincenzo Giusti, Emilia Colardo, and Raffaela Terenzi.
A Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited, will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at 10:00 am in Sacred Heart Church, 820 Providence Street, West Warwick. Burial with military Honors will follow in the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
