Walter McCutcheon, 68, of Red Maple Road, Coventry passed away Saturday at Kent Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Mary P. Cline. Born in Roselle, NJ, he was a son of the late Walter McCutcheon, Sr. and Patricia (Lonergan) McCutcheon.

Mr. McCutcheon was an Insurance Manager for Providence Washington Insurance Co. until his retirement in 2007. A Vietnam War Veteran, he served in The United States Army. He was a graduate of Roselle High School, Rutgers University and the University of Southern California. He was a member of Rotary International.

He was the loving step father of John J. Cline of Mt. Prospect, IL and Kelly A. Drapeau of LeClaire, IA. Cherished grandfather of Katelyn and Nathan Drapeau and Natalie and Alexandra Cline. He was the brother of the late Anne Lupo.

Relatives and friends are invited to Visitation Friday from 4-7 pm followed by a Funeral Service at 7:00 pm in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95). Burial will be private.
