Marie E. (Gould) Ysenbart

Marie E. (Gould) Ysenbart, 79, of Warwick, passed away Friday at Roger Williams Medical Center. She was the beloved wife of Richard A. Ysenbart. The daughter of the late David and Lois (Eldredge) Gould, she was born in Opalaka, Alabama, and loved the many summers she spent in Chatham, Massachusetts.

She was a graduate of the University of Rhode Island, and then was an English teacher in the Providence school system until her retirement in 2005. She enjoyed sewing, traveling and was an avid gardener.

She was the loving mother of Frederick T. Worrell, III and his wife Cynthia of Coventry, Scott Worrell and his wife Judy of Warwick, Suzanne Worrell Gemma of East Greenwich and the late P. Lynn Worrell-Waller. Caring step-mother of Michael Ysenbart of Virginia. Cherished grandmother of Jeffrey and Patrick Worrell and Christopher and Matthew Gemma. She was the sister of the late David Gould, Jr.

Her Funeral Service will be held Wednesday at 10:00 am in Warwick Central Baptist Church, 3270 Post Road, Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Tuesday 5-8 pm in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95). Burial will be private.
