Anna M. (Maiorano) Grossi-Weinberg, 89, of Cranston, died Saturday, May 21, 2011 at Kent Regency of Warwick. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Raffaele Maiorano and Domenica (Cionfoli) Maiorano. She was the wife of the late Zangwell Weinberg.

Mrs. Grossi-Weinberg was a jewelry worker for Bulova Watch Company for 18 years until her retirement.

She leaves her devoted son: Frank Grossi and his wife Linda of Warwick and a step-daughter, Vicki Weisman and her husband Robert of Florida. She was the loving grandmother of Frank Grossi, Jr., Michael W. and Diane Grossi, and Jessica Ann Grossi, step-grandmother of Andrea and Carolyn Weisman, and 6 great-grandchildren. She was the sister of Frank Maiorano of Narragansett, Vincenza DiFillippo of Cranston, Mary Maiorano of Cranston and the late Joseph Maiorano.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at 8:45 am from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Greenwood, Warwick (Exit 12A off I-95) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Mary Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Kindly omit flowers.
