Mary E. (Bowey) Daly, 81, of Warwick passed away Sunday at the home of her daughter Patricia. She was the companion of the late John Tedeschi. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late John T. and Alice L. (Kane) Bowey.

Ms. Daly was a waitress at Nino's and several local restaurants. She was a communicant of SS John & Paul Church in Coventry.

She was the beloved mother of Mary E. Fratus-Harwood and Patricia Lee Newton-Budlong, both of Coventry and the late James J. Daly. Loving grandmother of seven and great grandmother of nineteen. She was the grandmother of the late Robert Newton, Jr.and sister of the late John and Bernard Bowey and Alice Rouse.

Her funeral will be held Saturday at 7:45 am from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 in SS John & Paul Church, South Main Street, Coventry. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Friday 4-7 pm. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 1085 No. Main Street, Providence, RI 02904 would be appreciated.
