Eileen R. (Hopkins) Olivier, 85, of Warwick passed away Saturday at Kent Hospital. She was the wife of the late Edouard A. Olivier. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late John E. and Ruth M. (Keidel) Hopkins.

Mrs. Olivier was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Warwick and was very active for many years in community affairs.

She was the beloved mother of Edouard A. Olivier, Jr. and his wife Debra of Foster, Craig S. Olivier of Warwick, Ronald G. Olivier of Coventry, Karen E. Poole and her husband Robert of Foster, Valerie C. Kurkoski and her husband Kenneth of West Warwick, Michele L. Harris and her husband William of North Scituate, Rosalie M. Swiczewicz and her husband Louis of North Providence, Paula L. Olivier of Warwick and Monique G. Santoro and her husband Richard of Johnston. Caring sister of Richard J. Hopkins of Arizona, Alberta E. Hines of Oregon, Sr. Carol L. Hopkins R.S.M. of Providence and the late John Keidel Hopkins, Stephen E. Hopkins and Mary Joan Keenan. Loving grandmother of twelve and great grandmother of five.

Her funeral will be held Saturday at 7:45 am from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 596 Jefferson Boulevard, Warwick. Burial will follow in R.I. Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Friday 4-8 pm.
