Shirleyanne (Hulton) Yorston, 80, of Warwick passed away Tuesday at Kent Hospital. She was the wife of the late Andrew Yorston. Born in Danbury, CT, she was a daughter of the late Hubert and Mae (Pallo) Hulton.


Mrs. Yorston was a Teacher at Greenwood Elementary School. Her greatest pleasure and joy were her children and her eight grandchildren.


She was the beloved mother of Andrew Yorston, III and his wife Katherine, Andrea Gorden and Dianne Knott and her husband Stephen, all of Warwick. Loving grandmother of Chad, Gregory, Alyson, Andrew, Emily, Eric, Rachel and Michael. She was the sister of the late Hubert Hulton, Jr. and Evelyn Bowling.


A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10:00 am in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 3250 Post Road, Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Sunday 4-6 pm in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95). Burial will be private.
