Harry A. Way,
90, of Warwick, died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, April 24, 2011. Born in Burlington, VT he was a son of the late Henry T. Way and Dorothy M. (Adams) Way. He was the loving husband of Edwina L. (Hinds) Way.
Mr. Way was a Purchasing Agent for Texas Instruments of Attleboro for 21 years until his retirement in 1977. He was a graduate of Hope High School of Providence and attended the University of Vermont. He published two books, was a member of the Charlestown Historical Society and active in genealogy studies.
Besides his wife, he leaves his four children: Helen M. Hutton of Ashland, MA, Pamela M. Farabaugh of Scranton, PA, Margaret A. Selmanie of Warwick, and Peter G. Way of Upton, MA. Loving grandfather of six grandchildren and one great-grandson. He was the brother of the late John Way and Janet Runyan.
His funeral and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory to the Charlestown Historical Society, P.O. Box 100, Charlestown, RI 02813 (please note "Museum Fund" in memo of check) will be appreciated. Arrangements have been entrusted to THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME.
