Lois A. (Campbell) Clune,
68, of North Kingstown, died peacefully Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at South County Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Thomas W. Clune, III.
Born in South Kingstown, she was a daughter of the late Robert A. Campbell and Harriet (McCombs) Campbell. She graduated from North Kingstown High School and the University of Rhode Island. She was a member of 4-H in her youth and had worked as a home economics teacher in the North Kingstown school district prior to becoming a homemaker and raising her family. A talented quilter and crafter, she later owned and operated TLC Crafts.
She is survived by her three children and their spouses: Lori and James Viner of North Kingstown, Susanne and Raymond Warburton of East Greenwich, and Thomas and Heather Clune of Wakefield along with three grandchildren. She also leaves cousins and lifelong friends with whom she shared many good memories. She will be remembered by all for her quiet kindness and sense of humor.
In accordance with her wishes, funeral services and burial in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery will be private. Calling hours are respectfully omitted. The family wishes to thank all of the healthcare providers who compassionately cared for Mrs. Clune during her illness.
