Pauline (Lavigne) Rounds, 83, of Warwick passed away Wednesday at Kent Hospital. She was the wife of the late Harold L. Rounds. Born in West Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Simion and Viola (Gregoire) Lavigne.

Mrs. Rounds was a self-employed hairdresser. She was a communicant of St. Catherine of Siena Church in Warwick, active with the Lockwood High School class of 1945 Alumni and participated in Cornerstone Adult Services.

She was the beloved mother of William L. Rounds of Warwick, Michael C. Rounds of West Greenwich, Christine V. Chabre of Cyr Plantation, Maine, and Paula E. Kendall of Charlestown. Loving grandmother of six. She was the sister of the late Richard Lavigne.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:30 am from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 3250 Post Road, Warwick. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Monday 4-7 pm.
