Eduarda M. (Pacheco) Furtado, 83, of Aberdeen Street, West Warwick
died peacefully Thursday at Kent County Hospital. She was the beloved
wife of Manuel J. Furtado. They would have been married 63 years in
July. Born in Sao Miguel, Azores, she was the daughter of the late
John and Maria (Pacheco) Pacheco.

Mrs. Furtado was a communicant of St. Anthony Church in West Warwick.

She leaves her two beloved sons and daughters-in-law, Luis and Olivia
Furtado and Mario and Catherine Furtado, all of West Warwick. She was
the loving grandmother of Michael (Stephaney) Furtado and Stephanie
Furtado. She was the proud great grandmother of Marcus Michael Furtado.

She was the sister of the late Dr. Aristides, John, Albertina, Teolinda and Hilda Pacheco and Cecilia Pascoal.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10:00 am in St. Anthony Church, Maple Avenue, West Warwick. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, West Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling Hours Sunday 3-5 pm in THE PRATA-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick.
