Kevin P. McCarthy, 49, of Bridgeton, NC, formerly of North Kingstown, died peacefully at Carolina East Hospital on Monday, February 28, 2011. Born in South Kingstown, he was the loving son of Barbara (Card) McCarthy and the late Patrick J. McCarthy.

Mr. McCarthy was a Construction Worker for various businesses.

Besides his mother, he leaves his two sisters: Patricia M. Heile of Mechanicsburg, PA and Susan Martin of Brockport, NY.

A Graveside service was held Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at 10:00 am at Wood River Cemetery, Richmond. Calling hours are respectfully omitted. Arrangements have been entrusted to THE CRANSTON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME of WICKFORD.
