Michael T. Groves, 56, died peacefully at Tufts Medical Center on November 4, 2012. Born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, he was a son of the late Thomas A. Groves and Jeannette L. (Theroux) Groves of Fort Meyers, Florida. He was the husband of Lu Ann (Alves) Groves.

Mr. Groves worked as a Welder for various companies. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.

Besides his wife, he leaves his daughter: Yessenia M. Rocha of San Diego, California. Cherished grandfather of Vianey, Marbella, Ezekial, and Alexia. He was the brother of Steven E. Groves and his wife Marlene of North Kingstown and Sandra L. Groves of North Providence.

A Committal Service was held in the Chapel of the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Calling hours respectfully omitted.
