Corinne A. (Marshall) Valentim, entered into eternal rest on November 5, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. She will be greatly missed by her husband, children and grandchildren. Her family and friends were touched daily by her loving spirit. She was the beloved wife of Joseph A. Valentim, Sr. They would have celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary on November 11, 2012.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Grover) Marshall.

Mrs. Valentim was employed with the Cranston School System for 12 years and Sunnyview Nursing Home for 2 years. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Parish in Cranston.

She was the loving mother of Karen M. Giblin and her husband Joseph, Jr. of North Kingstown, Edward J. Valentim and his wife Deborah of Cranston, Joseph A. Valentim, Jr. and his wife Jean of Garland, Maine and William V. Valentim and his wife Antonia Marques of Johnston. Cherished grandmother of Christine Valentim, Dawn Temple, Edward J. Valentim, Jr., Justin and Derek Valentim, Frank, Theresa and Andrew Alfiero, Colin Giblin, Molly Giblin, Alyssa M. Escobar and Ryan Anthony Valentim. Caring sister of Marion Lucier of Warwick and the late William Marshall.

Her funeral will be held Friday, November 9th at 8:45 am from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Immaculate Conception Church, Garden Hills Drive, Cranston. Burial will follow in R.I. Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Thursday 6-8 pm.
